1 Day

Tbilisi

Arrival to Tbilisi. Meeting in the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Tbilisi city tour. Walking through narrows old Tbilisi streets, visit IV century Narikala fortress in Old Tbilisi, Metekhi temple with panoramic views of the old city; Sioni Cathedral - the main temple of Tbilisi; Anchiskhati church - the oldest church in Tbilisi; Meidan Square, Shardeni Street, Freedom Square, Shota Rustaveli Avenue. Visit picturesque town Mtskheta. This town was the first capital of Georgia from III century BC up to the 5th century AD. Svetitskhoveli cathedral - (11th century), which has been the main cathedral of Georgia for long centuries.

Continuing out tour we will rise on a mountain to the Monastery of Jvari, where you will amazed with magnificent view of the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers opens.

Gala dinner in the national restaurant with live music and dances. Overnight in the hotel in Tbilisi.

Sighnaghi

Departure to excursion in Sighnaghi and Bodbe. Kakheti is not only wine region of Georgia. Kakheti is also famous with main Sighnaghi city - city of love, city of a fairytale in surroundings of Alazani valley and Caucasus Mountains.

Sighnaghi fortress is the one of the largest castles of Georgia, surrounded by fortress walls and 28 watchtowers overlooking the Alazani valley. St. Nino relics are in the Orthodox monastery of Bodbe. Wine tasting in Kindzmarauli Corporation, Winery Khareba or Tsinandali Palace.

3 Day

Tbilisi

Trip to visit Ananuri architectural complex built in the 16th - 17th centuries. The fortress was stage of numerous battles.

Zhinvali Dam is the most beautiful place of Georgia. Turquoise mirror of water reservoir, which sprawled between the mountain peaks, is unusually picturesquely in any time of the year.

Gudauri is the most famous Georgian ski resort on the southern slope of the Great Caucasian ridge. Gudauri resort rapidly develops offering new slopes and entertainment to its guests.

14th century Trinity Church is the most wonderful sightseeing and sanctity of Georgia, 2170m above the sea level.

Breathtaking Georgian Military road passes through Cross Pass will not leave anyone indifferent. The Cross Pass was named due the fact that in 1824 the place of intersection of Caucasian ridge and Georgian Military road was marked with the stone cross.

Goshavank

Arrival and meeting in Armenian - Georgian border.

Visit to Goshavank - monastery complex, built in XII-XIII centuries in the village of Gosh in Armenia. Goshavank is the cultural, educational and religious center of medieval Armenia. The sources referred to it as a seminary, university, and so on. Haghartsin Monastery, which was built in the X-XIII centuries, mostly under the auspices of the Bagratuni Dynasty.

Tavush region of Armenia – to a small town of Dilijan, located on the picturesque banks of the river Aghstev.

The pearl of Armenia - blue Sevan Lake - freshwater lake in the Armenian highlands. It is guaranteed to be the largest source of fresh water in Caucasian region. Visit to Sevanavanq - a monastery in the north-west coast of Lake Sevan. The monastery is located on a peninsula, which was once a small island.

Arrival in Yerevan. Check in to the hotel.

Yerevan

Walking tour through the city. Yerevan has a variety of architectural styles, with green alleys, numerous fountains, Grand Cascade (open air museum), Opera and Ballet House, Northern Avenue, the Republic Square. Lavash making master-class.

Pagan temple of Garni, built in the I century by Armenian king Trdat I and dedicated to the god of sun Mihr. According to history, the temple was built on the money of the Roman Emperor Nero. Azat River Gorge is famous for its basaltic pillars - the result of a volcanic lava flow.

Gegard monastery complex (IV century), which is included in the list of World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO. Its full name is Gegardavank, literally it is translated as "Monastery of the spear." The name of the monastery complex comes from Christ Spear (Spear of Longinus), which the Roman soldier Longinus thrust in Jesus Christ. The spear is now kept in the museum of Echmiadzin Cathedral.

Yerevan

Khor Virap Monastery, situated at the foot of Mount Ararat, near the border with Turkey. It is a place of pilgrimage, which is connected with the legend of Gregory the Illuminator. Here it is the closest place from which you will see beauty of the symbol of Armenia - Mount Ararat.

Noravank monastery complex, XIII-XIV centuries. It is located on a narrow ledge winding gorge tributary of Arpa River. The gorge is famous for its steep red cliffs.

Visit "Cave of the birds" where the oldest winery in the world and the world's oldest shoe, which was more than 5500 years old, were found. Village of Areni is famous for its wines till now. Every year in October the annual festival of wines takes place there.

"Areni" wine factory where we taste Armenian wine in the tasting room of the factory. The wines of this producer differ in their unique tastes. The bouquet of the fragrance is revealed gradually leaving a pleasant aftertaste.

Return to Yerevan.

Yerevan

Visit the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts named after St. Mesrop Mashtots - Matenadaran. The most ancient manuscripts are dated back to the 5th century BC and are associated with Mesrop Mashtots, who invented the Armenian alphabet.

Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915, and the Genocide Museum.

Lunch at a restaurant with tasting of national dishes.

Echmiadzin - the center of the Armenian Gregorian Church, where the residence of the Catholicos is located. We will visit Echmiadzin Cathedral (301-483 AD), which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, the museum.

We visit the ruins of Zvartnots temple, which was destroyed in the earthquake. In 2000, the ruins of the temple and the archaeological area around it are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Yerevan Brandy Factory, where we have a fascinating tour with tasting of 2 types of brandies (a three-year old "Ararat" and a ten- year old "Akhtamar"). Dinner at a restaurant with tasting of national dishes.
